Hi Matthew.
Got me anorak on - I 'major' in Gong and Dave Stewart.

The Gong track 'Can't Kill Me' is from a Gong Appreciation Society tape 'You do have to give up Dope', it features Bill Bruford on drums and was recorded in Rotterdam 'Eksit'(possibly the venue name) on 7th Dec 1974.
Also:
Egg 'Symphony No.2' The original LP featured 'Blane' as a replacement to the, ahem, 3rd movement, which was deemed by the uptight suits upstairs, man, to be quoting, as indeed it does, Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, still in copyright at the time and therefore probably litigious.
The CD re-released helpfully replaces the missing movement in addition to the wonderful 'Blane'.

Please accept my thanks for your excellent work in putting these podcasts together. I'm learning much about the stuff I quite failed to 'get' back in the day, particularly Caravan and Soft Machine (I know! Duh!!)
